Saving the Mediterranean area, starting with southern European countries

The multifunctional cities within the LE PAPILLON SOURCE Mediterranean societal consortium serve
as tools for a massive educational process through individual and collective experimentation. Their role
is to spark a new movement of thought that will lead to a generalized movement of co-creation and a
major societal transformation throughout the Mediterranean region.

Launch positive initiatives and effective processes (experimental tourist cities and self-managed
agro-climatic, educational, multifunctional, and interconnected complexes + transnational
events for intellectual and artistic cooperation + distributed architecture information systems) to
export and promote a new Mediterranean philosophical culture.
Promote a new ethical development model whose success indicators are the societal progress
of nations, intellectual advancement, and the degree of cross-border cooperation among
Mediterranean peoples.
Move away from traditional indicators like the geo-economic density of a country or region and
instead focus on geo-societal density, geo-intellectual density, and geo-creative density.
Enable the movement of various ambassadors of this new Mediterranean philosophy (heads of
state with traditional values, spiritual philosophers, independent scientists, isolated inventors,
artists, interdisciplinary students — all seeking global peace, prosperity, and dignity for
humanity). This movement would not focus on economic aspects but rather societal,
intellectual, and cultural dimensions.
Make the Mediterranean space the prototype of societal, intellectual, and artistic markets for the
world.
Through the EL4DEV societal change process, create a new politico-societal Mediterranean
union: the Mediterranean Societal Union, comprised of multiple national Societal Economic
Interest Groups.
Establish the Mediterranean region as a model of success, a showcase of a better humanity, an
international beacon, and a space of positive influence for the rest of the world.
Make the Mediterranean region the birthplace of a new Renaissance, with dynamics of
openness, knowledge-sharing, resource-sharing, and massive co-creation. These dynamics,
powered by the EL4DEV program, will spread rapidly across the planet.

This successful societal development and functioning model, along with the EL4DEV process, must be
exported to other geo-economic, geo-cultural, or geographic areas. Subsequently, societal unions will
be created by emulation: an African Societal Union, a European Societal Union, an American Societal
Union, an Asian Societal Union, an Oceanian Societal Union, and a Pacific Societal Union.
